Delete your Stenzil data

You can ask us to delete the data Stenzil holds about you at any time. This applies whether you signed in to our web chat with an email code, Facebook or Google, or used Stenzil by text.

How to ask

2. Write "Please delete my data" and include your website address. If you used Stenzil by text, include the phone number you texted from.

3. We reply to confirm the request is yours. Then we delete your data and email you when it's done, within 30 days.

If you have a live site

Deleting your data ends your site. If your site is live, we ask you to cancel your subscription first, and we offer you the free export of your site before we delete anything.

What we delete

• Your web chat account: your email address, your sign-in ID, and anything Facebook or Google shared when you signed in. We also delete your account at Clerk, our sign-in service.

• Your chat messages and the photos you uploaded.

• Your preview and the pages we built for you.

What we may keep

• Records the law requires us to keep, such as text message and consent records, for the time our Privacy Policy states.

• Payment and billing records, which Stripe keeps under its own policy.

Removing Stenzil from Facebook

You can also remove Stenzil from your Facebook account. In Facebook, go to Settings & privacy, then Settings, then Apps and websites, and remove Stenzil. That stops Facebook sharing anything new with us. To delete what we already hold, email us as above.
